Post injection processing of MIM powder includes: shaping, machining, heat treatment, sand blasting, grinding, polishing, electroplating, electrophoresis, spraying, PVD, tapping, blackening The following is a brief introduction to centralized subsequent machining.


Shaping: In the sintering process, the product has a certain degree of deformation under creep shrinkage, gravity, friction and other factors, and usually needs to be reshaped for correction. Shaping is the process of plastic deformation of the product under external force.

Polishing: refers to the processing method that reduces the surface roughness of the workpiece by using mechanical, chemical or electrochemical effects to obtain a bright and flat surface.


Electroplating: The process of using electrolysis to attach a layer of metal film to the surface of metal or other materials. Electroplating can prevent metal oxidation (such as rust), improve wear resistance, conductivity, reflective property, corrosion resistance (copper sulfate, etc.), and improve aesthetics.


PVD: refers to the process of transferring atoms or molecules from the source to the surface of the substrate through physical processes. Its function is to make some particles with special properties (high strength, wear resistance, heat dissipation, corrosion resistance, etc.) sprayed on the matrix with lower performance, so that the matrix has better performance.


Use method: the workpiece is placed in a confined space filled with inert gas, and metal ions are sputtered to the workpiece surface under high pressure, forming a layer of metal film. The basic methods of PVD include vacuum evaporation, sputtering and ion plating.


Sand blasting: in order to meet the requirements of surface finish and deburring, it is a method to clean the surface of parts by blowing quartz sand out with compressed air at high speed.

Magnetic abrasive polishing: the magnetic abrasive is used to form abrasive brush under the action of magnetic field to grind the workpiece. This method has high processing efficiency, good quality, easy control of processing conditions and good working conditions.


Blackening: a common method of chemical surface treatment. The principle is to produce a layer of oxide film on the metal surface to isolate the air and achieve the purpose of rust prevention. When the appearance requirements are not high, blackening treatment can be adopted. The main components of blackening liquor are sodium hydroxide and sodium nitrite.


CNC: MIM powder injection process can complete complex small parts, but some parts that cannot be directly molded still need to be completed through CNC process. CNC fills the weak point of traditional processing and is no longer limited to turning, milling, planing, grinding and drilling. Parts processing through multiple clamping adjustment. With relatively high flexibility, improve working standards.
